Scottish Sea Farms have an immediate vacancy for a skilled and experienced engineer. You will be a time served mechanic of at least 4 years, be multi-skilled, conscientious, innovative and hard working. The role will involve the routine service of marine vessels, barges, feed systems etc.
Specific areas of required competence:
* Marine diesel engines
* Welding
* Hydraulic systems
* Fabrication
* Risk Assessment
The ideal candidate would also demonstrate a basic level of electrical competence. You will work as part of a small team based near Oban but you may be required to undertake works across the west coast so a clean driving licence is essential. We are looking for someone with initiative who will set high standards for themselves, who can communicate clearly and problem solve.
