The new washer has been developed in consultation with nozzle specialists and detergent manufacturers to produce a highly efficient machine incorporating the latest technology.
Already orders are coming in with the first coming from Australia’s largest farmed salmon producer Tassal and AFOS are anticipating a strong demand for the new machines.
The AFOS washer is fully programmable using a Siemens touch screen panel and will clean a lightly soiled trolley in five minutes.
A single trolley is placed inside a static compartment and a system of rotating nozzles blasts it with warm water and a cleaning solution. Water is then filtered and cleaned ready for use again making significant savings on water usage.
Peter Martin, AFOS Sales Director, said: ”This new washer incorporates the very latest technology. It shortens the cleaning time bringing energy savings and further reduces costs through using recycled water.
“Rotating nozzles are strategically positioned in the top, bottom and centre of the washer to give a powerful and thorough clean.”
